Single Image Technical Specifications
Envision Stock Photography, Inc. photography is produced using professional level DSLRs, Pro Digital Backs or high-end scanners, and are created in a color-managed environment centered on the Adobe RGB 1998 color space. All imagery is fully retouched, color-corrected, 24-bit RGB (8 bits per channel) and have resolutions of 300 dpi (with the exception of the low resolution imagery available at 72 dpi).

Rights-Managed (RM) Single Images
Rights-managed images are used for a high-profile project such as print advertising, brochure and catalog covers, retail products and more. Higher licensing fees and the fact that the use of rights-managed images is tracked, helps prevent these images from saturating the market and therefore helps reduce potential conflicts of use.

The pricing is based on usage, not file size, so each file licensed is our largest resolution.

The fees and usage rights for rights-managed images are based on the specific project’s criteria:

INTENDED USE: brochure, print advertisement, billboard, etc.
USE SIZE: 1/4 page, full page, double page, etc.
PLACEMENT OF IMAGE: inside, cover, etc.
PRESS RUN OR CIRCULATION: 5,000 brochures, an ad in a 250,000 press run magazine, etc.
DURATION OF THE USE: one-time, six months, one year, etc.
GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION: Local, Regional, National or International.
Inside placement or back cover – Magazine or newspaper or contract publication (includes electronic rights)
Use in a magazine, newspaper or other printed material not intended for commercial or promotional purposes. Use applies to a single issue or edition and all reprints or printed versions of the original use. Image may be used anywhere other than the front cover of the publication. Use includes electronic rights for associated project.

Contract publication – Interior or back cover
Inside placement or back cover – Textbook or retail/trade book (includes electronic rights)

Searching for Items

Keyword Search
By entering keyword(s), you may use one or more keywords to define a search using the words: and, or, not as separators.

To narrow a search – Use: and, not.
mountain and river – will provide items that contain both mountains and rivers.
mountain not river – will provide items that contain only mountains without rivers.

To expand a search – Use: or
mountain or river – will provide items that contain either mountains or rivers or both.

Using Filters in a Keyword Search:
Within Results – When checked, this will and the new keyword with the previous keyword search.

Filter by Type – This will show items that are Rights Managed (RM) or Royalty Free (RF).

Filter by Color – This will show items that are Color or Black and White (B&W;).

Filter by Orientation – This will show items that are Horizontal, Vertical, Square, or Panoramic.

Filter by Photographer – This will show items provided by the photographer selected. If no keyword is entered, all items from the photographer will be shown.

Item # Search
You may entering one or more item #s to do a search. To search for multiple item #s, separate them with commas.

Lightboxes
You can create personal lightboxes to store and email items. You add items to a lightbox as you view a search result or a preview, and add the items that may fit your project.

Your lightboxes are kept for in indefinite period of time unless you delete them. You may have as many lightboxes as you wish, and each lightbox can have an unlimited number of items.

When you email a lightbox, the recipient doesn’t have to be registered to view your lightbox.

You may search across the Envision Stock Photography, Inc. site without registering. In order to download “previews”, registration is required.
